Cool, cool photo--- I still haven't cut down the poppy pods in my garden cause I love their bare heads-- the shape is like a small head. There are some women near here who make the coolest dolls from poppy stems--- bluepoppy
Thank you! I loved the poppy head popping out of the shrinking petals. It reminds me of The Little Prince, for some reason...a little person peering out of the withering beauty. I solarized the photo and tweaked it in Paintshop Pro to optimize the color scheme. I think it came out nicely. You can check out some of my other photos and art at:
